A PSYCHIC played a role in finding missing dementia sufferer Maureen Fairbrass.
The family of Mrs Fairbrass sought the help of medium Sally Cudmore, who gave crucial information for the search.
Mrs Fairbrass, mother of former EastEnders star Craig Fairbrass, was found in a makeshift bed in an overgrown part of allotments in Sandford Road, Bromley, near Norman Park, on October 15.
The 72-year-old had been missing for four nights and five days after wandering off while shopping with her husband at Waitrose in Bromley.
Mrs Cudmore, of Slades Drive, Chislehurst, cancelled all her clients for the week to help with the search.
The 40-year-old, who held Mrs Fairbrass's cross while working her magic, said: "Straight away I could tell she was still alive. I was getting quite a strong connection as I was holding her necklace.
"I said she was lying in overgrowth in the Norman Park area with her hair all over her face. I said if she's left any longer, she won't survive.
"It was very scary and stressful.
"I'm delighted Maureen was found safe, eventually I hope to meet her."
Mrs Fairbrass spent a week in hospital after she was found, but has now returned home.
Her daughter Lindzey said: "My mum's doing a lot better now.
"It's wonderful to have her back. I feel it's like a blessing from god. I prayed and prayed for four nights and five days. It was an absolute nightmare.
"Doctors are saying it's a miracle she survived out in that weather. They said she was three hours from death, she's very lucky.
"Twenty four hours after it happened she said she thought she was going to die.
"She still has flashbacks."
When asked about the help from Mrs Cudmore, she said: "We're very grateful to her. She's going to become a lifelong friend."
A Bromley police spokesman said officers were aware the family had hired a psychic.
