A teenage girl filmed and “egged on” two men as they sadistically raped and humiliated a woman in a Sutton flat, a court heard.

Cassie Webb is alleged to have aided and abetted Jermaine Kraftner and Corrie Pinney as they subjected a petrified 22-year-old woman to a series of degrading and violent sexual assaults in a flat in Belmont.

Mr Pinney, 35, from Yardbridge Close, in Belmont, and Mr Kraftner, 27, from Poole, in Dorset, are accused of 14 charges of rape, sexual assault, false imprisonment and actual bodily harm against two victims in separate attacks.

The first attack, involving a 17-year-old girl, happened on July 29, 2009, and the second on the 22-year-old took place on April 20, 2010 – both allegedly at Mr Pinney’s Belmont flat.

Miss Webb, now 20, from Croydon, faces five charges of aiding and abetting the rape and assault of the 22-year-old and false imprisonment in the attack in 2010.

Miss Webb, also known as Mercy, was said to have started filming on a mobile phone as the victim was put through a horrific five-hour ordeal including beatings, sexual abuse and threats of sadistic violence.

On April 20, the woman had arranged to meet the two men at Mr Pinney’s flat for a drink, however, the mood of the evening changed suddenly after midnight when Mr Kraftner flew into a jealous rage, Croydon Crown Court heard.

He and Mr Pinney then began to humiliate and physically attack the woman, the jury were told.

Miss Webb allegedly mocked the woman, who was ordered to stand on one leg in the corner of the room.

If she disobeyed them the defendants repeatedly kicked and punched her and said they would cut off her hair, pour boiling water on her or stab her with a samurai sword, the court heard.

On several occasions the woman begged them to stop and even tried to leave but found a huge speaker blocking the front door.

The jury was told she was then raped by both men as Miss Webb filmed, despite the terrified woman pleading with them to stop.

Miss Webb claimed she only took part in the terrified victim’s humiliation because she feared it would happen to her.

The victim told the court she remembered Mr Kraftner saying: “I haven’t done this, it is the devil dancing over me.”

Eventually they let the woman, who suffered injuries to her head, face, neck, back, legs and knees, leave at about 6am.

After days of being comforted by friends she told police.

In the other attack in 2009, cousins Mr Kraftner, who is also known as “Striker” and “J”, and Mr Pinney – known as “Cappy” and “Capone” – lured another woman, this time a 17-year-old, to their flat but again suddenly turned on her and raped her when she refused sex.

In a horrifying twist, Mr Kraftner’s father [Desmond Enwright] is alleged to have joined in the attack after he wandered into the room, the prosecution claimed.

The girl managed to escape and despite being semi-naked, managed to flag down a passerby, who took her home.

Hanna Llewellyn-Walters, prosecuting, said: “The attacks were designed to degrade and instill terror in both women for the sense of power and sexual gratification of the two male defendants.

“It is the Crown’s case that there are striking similarities in the two episodes in terms of the treatment of the victims and the behaviour of the defendants.

“Both involved sexual degradation and humiliation, both involved third-party involvement and both victims sustained injuries of varying degrees.”

Mr Pinney and Mr Kraftner have already pleaded guilty to assaulting their second victim in the April 20 attack.

Miss Webb denies all the charges.

The trial continues.
