POLICE are offering a £20,000 reward for information following the murder of a New Cross man one year ago.

Nathan Allen, who was also known as Mace, was fatally shot on May 3 last year.

Emergency services were called at 9.09pm to reports of an injured man in the garden of an address in Ludwick Mews, New Cross.

The 21-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post mortem examination gave the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.

A Facebook page set up in tribute to Mr Allen, of Desmond Street, New Cross, has 1,150 members.

An incident room was set up by Operation Trident within the Met Police under Detective Chief Inspector Gordon Allison.

A reward of up to £20,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the murder of Mr Allen.

DCI Allison said "We would like to hear from anyone who may have information in relation to Nathan's murder or who may have seen anything at the time."
