Drivers faced traffic chaos on their way to work this morning following an accident on the A316.
Long delays were reported on the road, which runs through the borough, after a collision between a motorcyclist and a car earlier today.
Part of the A316 near Hanworth was closed east-bound following the incident.
Ambulance crews and a helicopter were called to the scene of the incident, close to Apex Corner, shortly after 7.55am.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to a traffic accident between a car and a motorcyclist.
“Staff treated a man at the scene and he was taken to Royal London Hospital with leg and pelvic injuries.”
The road reopened just before noon.
