Fans of Richmond Park are to be given a 21st Century access route to their beloved green space with the launch of The Royal Parks’ official YouTube channel.
The dedicated channel features short films on activities, events and wildlife in London’s eight Royal Parks, as well as exclusive behind the scenes footage of life in the parks.
Richmond Park is currently featured in Sightline 1710, a new film by artist Caroline Jones to mark the tercentenary of the historic view from the park’s King Henry's Mound across to St Paul's Cathedral.
Chris Travers, director of strategy and communications for The Royal Parks, said: "We welcome 37 million visitors each year, and the YouTube videos will capture some of the many reasons why.
"Our aim to is to encourage park visitors to check the channel regularly to find out what’s new and learn more about their favourite park."
