Weybridge writer Harry Turner held a party at the prestigious Garrick Club in London’s West End on Thursday, September 23, to celebrate the launch of his new book of short stories, Heaven’s Anvil.
The book includes stories relating to Harry’s observations on life from boyhood to becoming a great-grandfather.
Harry, a long time member of the gentlemen’s club and former director of ITN News, signed copies of the book, which is his thirteenth to date.
Once a writer for the famous Pan Book of Horror Stories series, recent books have included Zen and the Art of Gentle Retirement and Growing up in Fulham.
The book is available from major bookstores and online.
