DOORS to some of Haringey's best-designed buildings will be opened as part of a celebration of architecture across London.
Classic landmarks like Alexandra Palace and Bruce Castle Museum will welcome curious minds hoping to learn more of the borough's history.
But other interesting buildings, including Muswell Hill Odeon and St Mary's Church Tower, in Hornsey, may also lure guests during London's Open House Weekend on September 18 and 19.
The annual event has been organised by charity Open City which promotes architecture education.
Walking tours of Tottenham Green Conservation Area and Tower Gardens Estate will also take place.
Councillor Toni Mallett, cabinet member for planning and regeneration, said: "Open House Weekend is such a fantastic opportunity for residents to get a close-up look at some of the most beautiful and interesting buildings in the borough.
"It's great to have so many council buildings involved, and also really wonderful that so many residents and businesses are getting involved and welcoming people in."
