FRIDAY 13th is usually associated with bad luck. However, bingo players in Burnt Oak may find their fortunes change this week.
An experiment to find Britain's luckiest charm is taking place at Mecca Bingo, in Burnt Oak Broadway, this Friday.
Players will have their bingo books marked with one of four lucky mascots, including a lucky horseshoe, a black cat, a four leaf clover or a lucky Buddha.
By keeping score of the wins for each mascot once the games are over, Mecca Bingos across the country are hoping to determine Britain's luckiest mascot.
Pete Peart , manager of Mecca Burnt Oak, said: “Friday 13th is reputed to be unlucky, however we don’t believe that here at Mecca Bingo as we create winners each and every day.
“This experiment will not only prove that Friday 13th can in fact be lucky, but it will also reveal Britain’s luckiest mascot.”
