POLICE are appealing for help to trace a missing teenage girl who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Amber Dixon, 13, was last seen by her mother in East London at around 12pm on April 3.

The teenager left a note saying she was popping to the shops but has not been seen since.

She is known to have connections in Plumstead, Golders Green, Hackney, and the Isle of Dogs.

Police describe her as white, around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build with long dark brown hair.

She was wearing blue jeans, black winter ‘ugg’ boots and a black body warmer jacket.

Owing to her age and the length of time Amber has been missing, police and her family have concerns for her welfare.

Anyone with information should call the Missing Persons Unit at Greenwich on 0208 284 7713 or out of hours on 0300 123 1212.
