Norwegian summer bliss providers Royskopp are back with another delightful song to relieve all your sunshine-induced stress.
Beautiful Day Without You even has lyrics that suit the season, "Wind is on my neck, Sun is on my face, Beautiful day without you," although they're more melancholy on closer inspection.
And it isn't nearly as exciting or catchy as What Else Is There?
The remix package is patchy, with a fun retro mix from Rex The Dog featuring plenty of laser sounds and early 90s beats, a decent squelchy version from Cass & Mangan, and Wighnomy & Robag Whrume providing the tedious, minimalist-glitch cut that seems to be obligatory on this type of release.
The best, or worst, thing, depending on your taste, is the inclusion of their live version of Go With The Flow by Queens Of The Stone Age.
It's taken from an EP of hopefully similarly frantic live synth-outs of other people's songs that's out soon.
