The current revival of professional wrestling in Enfield has prompted the opening of a major training school in the borough.
LDN Wrestling has responded to the overwhelming success of sell-out shows held at Southbury Leisure Centre by launching the initiative.
The new training school will open at the London Martial Arts Centre, in Lancaster Road, Enfield, on Sunday, January 22.
Demand for a training school has been very high.
Sanjay Bagga, promoter of the Enfield events and owner of the school, said: "We're drawing several hundred people every show. Fans are always asking me where they can learn to be a wrestler, so I feel as though I'm giving something back to them.
"There is great potential for our school to find stars for the future, and that can only be a good thing for British wrestling."
The school will be run by two current wrestling stars, both of whom each have almost ten years' experience. Both trainers are local men.
Ashe hails from Chingford, while Tex Benedict is from Borehamwood.
The duo will work closely with the trainee wrestlers, teaching them basics of the sport and even preparing them for performing in front of TV audiences.
There will also be a huge focus on safety in the sport.
The school will be in session on January 22 and every Sunday thereafter, from 11am to 3pm. For more information, visit the centre's web site at www.LDNwrestling.com
