Edgware Town chairman Anthony Rosier the man who aimed to get the Wares into the Conference within five years has left the club.
Life president and long-time fan Ken Batten took over the role of chairman following Mr Rosier's resignation this week.
Mr Rosier has done much to ensure the club's financial survival and had big plans. Edgware came out of debt in the summer and Mr Rosier promised a big budget for players.
New faces came on board and the new-look side started the season well. But a number of players have left the White Lion Ground in recent weeks and results have suffered.
Edgware, in the bottom half of Ryman League Division Two, host in-form Hertford Town on Saturday.
