PETTS WOOD: Nurse in court on drugs charge


A NURSE has been charged after allegedly taking drugs at a pub in Petts Wood.

Emergency services were called to the Daylight Inn, Station Square, to reports of a woman suffering a seizure in the premises after allegedly taking an illegal substance.

Elizabeth Stainton was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug and taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough.

The 30-year-old, of John Street, Maidstone, was then taken to Bromley police station where she was charged with possession of a Class A drug.

She has been bailed to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on April 6.
