A SUMMER exhibition showcasing Stanley Spencer's work inspired by his first wife is due to be launched.
Stanley and the First Mrs Spencer at The Stanley Spencer Gallery in High Street, Cookham, looks at the influence his first wife Hilda Carline, also a talented artist.
It honours her on the sixtieth anniversary of her death.
The Summer Exhibition will be open daily from 10.30am to 5.30pm, from April 1.
