DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was beaten up by a gang in an unprovoked attack.
Police were called after the 17-year-old was repeatedly punched in Golden Fried Chicken shop, in Wood Street, Walthamstow, at about 6.45pm on Tuesday.
The victim received stitches to a number of wounds.
The attackers, who were all men, were seen leaving the scene in a dark Ford Focus.
The ringleader is described as black, about 19 years old, 6ft tall and wearing a grey hooded top.
