A TALENT show which will give winners the chance to record their own tracks professionally is being held tomorrow.

The show, dubbed Power of Dreams by organisers Enfield Council and Enfield Homes, has 12 contestants strutting their stuff to bag one of the final two top slots.

The best singing or rapping act will have their music recorded at a professional studio, while the winning dance act will be given a professionally made costume embossed with their logo, and a headphone set.

Spurs FC’s Sebastien Bassong, Cllr Tony Dey, Janet Billingsley, the Vice Chair of Enfield Homes, and Enfield police's Youth and Partnership Sergeant, Neil Standring, will be giving the casting votes.

Suj Ponnampalam, Hate Crime Coordinator said: "The evening has the amazing ability to bring together all the different young people of the borough, who have come from diverse and varied backgrounds and experiences. It also gives them, for the first time in their lives, an opportunity to show off their talents and begin their career in the arts.

“Last year’s acts were amazing, and we are looking forward to seeing what this year’s talent has to offer.”

The show will be held at 6pm at the Millfield Theatre in Silver Street, Edmonton.
