A 'DANGEROUS offender' who raped a woman in Beaconsfield will serve at least three years behind bars.

Errol Hendrickson was placed on the sex offenders register for life by an Aylesbury Crown Court judge on Friday after being convicted.

The 26-year-old, of Priory Road, High Wycombe, was given an indeterminate sentence in the interest of public protection and must serve at least three years for the July 2009 attack.

He must be proven fit for release and not be considered a danger to women before he is freed. If released he will be on a lifelong license period.

Passing sentence, Mr Recorder Levett told Hendrickson he was a ‘dangerous offender’ and described him as a "wolf in sheep’s clothing".

Investigating officer Det Sgt Paul Duffin said after sentencing: “We are pleased that a dangerous man is off the streets with strong measure in place for when he is eventually released.”
