A 20-year-old man was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries yesterday after being stabbed in West Norwood.
The victim was found by police with stab wounds to the back and chest.
Officers were called to Basil Gardens at the junction with Linton Grove, off Elder Road, at about 5.30pm.
The man was taken to hospital where he is now described as "stable".
Police are appealing for witnesses.

No arrests have been made.
