A MAN in his seventies needed hospital treatment for a head injury after his house was burgled in Marlow on Monday.
He was taken to Wexham Park Hospital after being injured in what police have called an aggravated burglary.
Nothing was taken during the raid at the property in Beechwood Drive.
Officers investigating the incident say it took place between 12.20-3.50pm, with police being called to the house at 4pm.
Police today made an appeal for witnesses to the burglary to come forward.
Investigating officer Det Con Richard Earl said: “We really need to talk to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything out of the ordinary which could help with our enquiries.”
Anyone with information can contact Det Con Earl at High Wycombe CID on 08458 505 505 or the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
