A 12-year-girl was raped in Worsley Road on Tuesday morning
A TEENAGER has been charged in connection with the rape of a child in Leytonstone.
Reece Appleby, 19, of Ramsay Road, Leytonstone, is charged with two counts of rape, attempted rape and sexual assault.
A 12-year-old girl was raped in Worsley Road, Leytonstone, at about 8.25am on Tuesday morning.
He is also accused of raping another girl under 17 years old on August 8.
Appleby appeared at Redbridge Magistrates Court today.
He has been remanded until December 23, when he will appear at Snarebrook Crown Court.
