A 40-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed after stealing a wallet, passport and shoes from a man at knifepoint.

Robert Evans threatened his victim in Station Road, High Wycombe, on April 21.

The Amersham Hill resident was given a 30-month prison term after pleading guilty to a charge of robbery at Aylesbury Crown Court yesterday.

Det Con Damian Eatwell, investigating officer, said: “I hope this sends out a clear message that robbery is a serious crime and if you commit this offence, you will be put before the courts and could face a prison sentence like Evans is now serving.”
