MARLOW town centre will be buzzing with hundreds of yuletide consumers when the annual late night shopping takes place on Thursday.

The High Street will be closed from 4pm to 9.30pm for the event which also includes the Christmas lights switch on by Mayor Neil Marshall.

An array of stalls, both charitable and commercial, will be selling their goods.

A carol service will take place from 6pm before the town is lit up.

There will also be a nativity procession along the High Street with live animals, which has been organised by the Marlow Methodist Church.

A number of shops in the High Street, West Street and Spittal Street will be open until 9pm.

Late night shopping is organised by Marlow Chamber of Trade and Commerce.

The first event took place in 1990.
