Delivery van stolen in Chalfont St Peter

A PARCEL delivery van was stolen during the day in Chalfont St Peter yesterday.

As the driver parked his van in Kingsway at about 2.20pm a man grabbed his shoulder and pulled him backwards onto the floor.

The man then got into the van and made off down the hill towards the A413.

He is described as white, medium build, about 5ft 8ins and has short blond hair. He was wearing a long, sleeved, waist-length orange jacket and trousers.

The vehicle is a silver Ford Transit long wheel base van, registration RF56 PNJ.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses.
