Thieves smashed a window at a Chorleywood church before making off with a computer monitor.
The burglary occurred in the early hours of Friday morning at St Andrew’s Church, Quickley Lane, when the thieves broke a ground floor window before ripping the Apple Macintosh screen from a desk.
It is believed the theft happened at about 1.30am and police are investigating.
Church manager Hugh Lloyd said: “They may have only taken one computer monitor but it’s very annoying for us to deal with.
“But we’re not going to let this get to us or change the way we do things. We’re a church so we can’t lock ourselves away. If we did that what good would we be to the community.”
The burglary came just a week after thieves targeted Our Lady’s church, in Park Road, Rickmansworth.
