AN Islington man has been charged with attacking a barman at a sports pub in Wembley.
Jon Kavanagh, 40, was arrested in connection with a fight at the First Class Sport Bar, in Wembley Park Drive, which allegedly broke out on Wednesday, November 4.
He has been accused of attacking the 44-year-old barman after one of Mr Kavanagh's friends was asked to put out his cigarette, before stealing the cash box from behind the bar.
The barman was allegedly punched and kicked repeatedly, and had to receive treatment for his injuries.
Mr Kavanagh, of Pembroke Street, Islington, faced charges of Actual Bodily Harm, Burglary, Affray and Criminal Damage at Brent Magistrates Court on Friday, November 6, and was remanded in custody until Friday December 4.
