Teenager stabbed in stomach in Croydon kebab shop


A teenager was stabbed in the stomach after being chased into a Croydon High Street kebab shop early this morning.

The victim was cornered by two men in the Bodrum takeaway following an argument at about 2am.

One of the attackers stabbed him with a knife before both men ran away, discarding the weapon in a nearby drain.

Ambulance crews treated the man at the scene before taking him to Mayday Hospital, and he was discharged several hours later.

A black man in his late teens and a mixed-race man in his twenties have been arrested in connection with incident, and remain in custody in a south London police station.
