POLICE raided a suspected cannabis factory in Pinner this morning after information its was being used to grow drugs.
Officers from Pinner South and Rayners Lane Safer Neighbourhood Team bust into the semi-detached house in Durley Avenue, seizing two crash helmet-sized bags stuffed full of the class B drug valued at around £1,500.
The officers have also taken away around £1,000 in cash from the house and specialised growing equipment found in the shed which is thought to have been used for growing cannabis plants.
Police arrested two men in their twenties at the house and have taken him away for questioning and further investigations.
The raid came after information was passed to police about suspected drug activity in the quiet residential road in the suburbs of Pinner off Cannon Lane.
Sgt Jim Bishop, of Pinner South Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “This was a successful raid and quite interesting because this a nice quiet road where there is a good neighbourhood watch scheme.”
