THIEVES got into a car in High Wycombe by punching out a door lock before taking car audio equipment, a sat-nav system and a work coat.

The silver Peugeot 206 was parked on Pinels Way between 2.30pm on Wednesday and 5am on Thursday.

The following crimes have been reported by Thames Valley Police:

Between 6:30pm on Wednesday 28th and 6:30am on Thursday 29th, offenders gained entry to a vehicle while parked in Columbine Road, Widmer End, by unknown means. A search was then made of the vehicle glove box and a Garmin Satellite Navigation system was stolen.

Between 11:00pm on Wednesday 28th and 7:00am on Thursday 29th, offenders gained entry to a gold coloured Citroen Saxo vehicle, while parked in Neale Close, High Wycombe, by forcing the nearside door lock. A Garmin Satellite Navigation System was stolen.

Between 8:00am and 8:00pm on Thursday 29th, offenders gained entry to a silver coloured Volkswagen Golf vehicle, while parked in a Car Park in Red Lion Way, Wooburn Green, by punching out the drivers door lock.

A search was made of the vehicle but nothing was apparently stolen.

Between 7:30am and 9:30pm on Thursday 29th, offenders attempted to gain entry to a premise in Plantation Road, High Wycombe, by forcing the rear door. No entry was gained and nothing stolen, although damage was caused.

Between 6:00pm on Tuesday 27th and 4:30pm on Wednesday 28th, offenders attempted to gain entry to a premise in Hawksmoor Close, High Wycombe, by forcing the front door. No entry was gained and nothing stolen, although damage was caused to the door.

Two vehicles have been reported as having been attacked in Lansdowne Way, High Wycombe, over night.

Between 5:30pm on Thursday 29th and 6:40am on Friday 30th, offenders attempted to gain entry to a white Nissan van, by removing the offside door lock barrel, and the trim from around the offside window. No entry was gained to the vehicle and nothing appears to have been stolen.

Between 2:40am and 3:00am on Friday 30th, an alarm was activated on a white Iveco panel van. It was subsequently found that the offside door lock had been forced and was hanging out of the door. It is not known if anything was stolen and no offenders were seen.
