POLICE are appealing for information after a distinctive vintage car was stolen from a car park in Dartford.

They say the white Triumph Stag was taken from a car park in Heath Lane between 4 and 6pm while the owner was walking his dog on Sunday (October 25).

The car registration RMC 145L was a vintage model and police are appealing for witnesses to the theft.

Police are also interested in speaking to anyone who may know the whereabouts of the car now or if they saw it driven nearby at the time of the theft.
