Hatfield police officers catch Welham Green burglars

TWO men have been charged with a burglary after a member of the public reported them hanging suspiciously around a house in Welham Green.

Daniel Zienuk, 26, and Kuba Dlugosk, 31 – both of Argyle Road, Stratford – were arrested in connection with a burglary in Dellsome Lane on Tuesday, October 20.

They both pleaded guilty and have been remanded in custody to be sentenced at a later date.

Inspector Ian Grout of the Welwyn Hatfield neighbourhood team said: “This is a great example of the public working with the safer neighbourhood team to reduce crime and catch offenders.

“I am grateful for the continued support of the public in our continued fight against burglars and other criminals.”
