Princess Alexandra opens new cancer suite

A PRIVATE hospital welcomed HRH Princes Alexandra to open a new suite for cancer patients.
She opened a suite for people receiving chemotherapy at The Chiltern Hospital in London Road, Great Missenden yesterday.
The £150,000 Misbourne Suite features chairs, televisions and wi-fi internet access for patients to relax while receiving chemotherapy.
The Princess met dignitaries including Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher as well as well as the county’s High Sheriff, the chairman of Buckinghamshire County Council and chairman and chief executive of Chiltern District Council.
She then met staff and was shown the new suite before unveiling a plaque commemorating its opening.
