Cheeky girls will open 99p store tomorrow

THE CHEEKY girls are due to open a new 99p Store in Enfield Town tomorrow.

According to the media machine behind the 99p stores, Monica and Gabriela Irimia, who found fame on reality music show Popstars with a The Cheeky Song are now “ambassadors” for the 99p brand.

At 99 seconds past 9am, the twins will cut the ribbon on the new store in London Road, the site of the former Woolworths store.

The Transylvanian twins will also be signing autographs and giving out free goody bags.

This year nearly 50 new 99p Stores have opened on the nation’s High Streets.

Hussein Lalani, co-founder and Commercial Director said: "We feel proud to take over the mantle and consider ourselves custodians of the Woolworths brand.”
