DARTFORD: Thieves steal £100,000 worth of designer clothing

POLICE are hunting thieves who stole thousands of pounds worth of designer clothing from a depot in Dartford.

Intruders forced their way into Thomas Pink Ltd at Crossways business park, off Crossways Boulevard, between 6.30pm on October 9 and 7.10am on October 12.

They escaped with boxes of designer shirts and coats worth more than £100,000.

The shirts have a label in the collar which has PINK on it in capital letters and are not sold anywhere other than at designated high street outlets.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the Bridge Close area of the business park over that weekend to get in touch.

Anyone with any information should call PC Barry Tagg on 01474 366180 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

It seems that even Dartfordians are sick of shopping in Primark!
At least the thieves will be easy to spot in their new clobber - they will be the best dressed customers Burger King has ever seen.

I love the idea that half of Dartford might suddenly appear in Thomas Pink shirts one Saturday!

Incidentally, I am not convinced that Pink shirts actually come under the description of 'designer' - a decent label for sure, but 'designer'?

If it's not Primark it's designer. Isn't it?
