A BUSY street in Ilford was closed off this morning after an alleged attack on a man.
Police sealed off Ley Street while they investigated the incident.
Officers have been unable to comment on what may have happened, but it is believed a man was hit over the head with a glass in the early hours of this morning.
The Guardian understands the apparent attack happened in or near the Bell pub.
The road reopened just after 9.30am.
