Freediver at Holmes under water
A freediver is looking to make waves in the world of diving.
Chris Holmes started free diving a year ago and has trained himself.
Supported by Croydon business AD2000 services, Mr Holmes competes in two disciplines – dynamic (swimming horizontally in a pool as far as you can) and static (lying motionless at the surface as long as you can).
Chris, 38 from Kent, can swim five-and-a-half lengths of a pool under water. He will enter his first international competition next month.
