GREENWICH: Search for driver after cyclist dies in crash


A CYCLIST has died following a collision with a lorry in Greenwich.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at the junction of Woolwich Road and the Kent bound A102(M).

Police have yet to establish the victim’s identity.

The lorry did not stop at the scene of the crash which happened at around 5.30pm on Friday (May 15).

It is described as having blue material, which could be canvas or plastic sheeting, on its side.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information that may help police should call the collision investigation unit at Catford traffic garage on 020 8285 1574.

That road is probably the busiest in that area! How is it that no one saw anything????

That woman who died was one of the most amazing people you could meet in your life time!
