TRACTOR enthusiasts will be taking to the fields for a vintage rally though the fields of Buckinghamshire.
The event, which will be held on May 24, will involve tractors from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, and will raise money for the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance.
Drivers will set off from the Bull and Butcher pub in Turville for a tour that will take in Stokenchurch, West Wycombe and other villages before looping around to the starting point.
Organiser Gary Anderson said: “Hopefully the weather will be good so we'll enjoy it.
“We try and keep off the main road so we're not a hold up to motorists.”
Around 40 vehicles took part in last year's event raising a total of £1,500 for the helicopter ambulance service.
"We just expected a couple of hundred quid but this really surprised me,” Gary said.
He said the air ambulance benefited from donations: “It's not publicly funded – it's a charity – so it's for a good cause.”
Spectators are welcome and the groups will be stopping in a field near West Wycombe for lunch.
