Vampirates author Justin Somper visits Twickenham Newland House School

An author paid a visit to a Twickenham school to pass on some tips to those who want to follow in his footsteps.

Justin Somper – who has penned the Vampirates series of books about two children who get separated at sea – was at Newland House School, in Waldegrave Park, on Thursday, February 26.

School librarian Caroline O’Donnabhain said: “Justin gave an enthusiastic talk, complete with cutlasses and sea shanties and shared his tips for budding writers.”
