A DOZEN police officers were called to a High Wycombe mosque this afternoon as a dispute spilled out onto the street.
The incident at the Wycombe Islamic Mission Mosque in Jubilee Road, Desborough, happened at the same time Friday Prayers were being said.
Several police officers and PCSOs descended on the scene to help ease tensions at around 2pm today.
Marianne Shaw, a spokesman for High Wycombe Police, said: “When they got there everything seemed to be going as it should. They offered reassurance outside.”
No further action was taken and no-one was injured. It is not clear what caused the situation.
