THE manager of a Beaconsfield restaurant says her business is not being affected by the Corden-crunch sweeping the town.
Pui-Yue Looi, who runs the China Diner in Station Road, said her restaurant has not suffered too badly since comedian James Corden moved out of a flat above the premises.
Earlier this month the Bakers Oven store two doors down from the restaurant closed down, with staff blaming the fact the former Fat Friends star had moved away.
However, Ms Looi said her restaurant was not affected too badly by the loss of one of their regular customers.
She told the Bucks Free Press: “James used to come in a lot when he lived here. He was always a very funny guy and a good laugh. His favourites were shredded chilli beef and crispy duck.
“Obviously since he has become a bigger star he has had to move closer to London, but we still see him around occasionally as he still has family in the area.
“It's not hit our trade since he moved away, although he was a big guy.”
