A SWIMMING trip ended in embarrassment when a mother shut her daughter in a locker.
The child had hidden from her mum in the locker in the changing room at Darrick Wood swimming pool, Lovibonds Avenue, Orpington.
A spokesman from Orpington fire station said the mother shut the locker door but could not get it open again so firefighters were called.
A pool attendant managed to get the child out before the crew arrived at around 7pm last night (January 15).
The firefighter says the mother was embarrassed about what had happened.
