A PHOTOGRAPHER is encouraging bookworms to get involved in a social documentary shoot to provide a snapshot of people's reading habits.
Hazlemere based snapper Matt Fowler, 40, has teamed up with Wycombe's new library to capture on camera the borrowing habits of library users at the end of its first year.
Anyone taking out books or other items such as DVDs, games or CDs this weekend can take part in the photographic survey.
Mr Fowler is aiming to photograph hundreds of library goers with their items on Saturday and Sunday in a studio on the mezzanine level.
He will be there from opening to closing time each day.
The work will go towards an exhibition in May 2009, which will also be held at the library.
He said: “ I thought it would be a great idea to document it and see what people take out to read or watch.
“Once people have selected their books, DVDs, games and so on, I would love them to visit me to have a couple of pictures taken with their selection for free.”
The pictures will also be displayed online.
