A PAIR of wooden benches worth £400 each were stolen from Holy Cross School, Culverly Road, Catford last Thursday, July 9. On the same day another £400 bench was carried off by two men wearing reflective jackets at a special needs school in Heather Close, Hither Green. Anyone with information call 0181 284 5045.
LEWISHAM is again holding the "Dancing in the Street" festival. On Saturday, July 25 there will be a display from St Norbet's baton twirlers in the High Street. On August 1, Skiff-a-Billy will perform country music and there will be line dancers teaching people how to dance. Everyone is welcome to attend.

LEWISHAM library is hosting an art exhibition of work by Soheila Keyani. The exhibition, entitled "My journeys in England" is a series of oil paintings. The exhibition is free and runs until July 24.
