Man robbed after cashpoint withdrawal


A 29 year-old man from Watford was robbed moments after withdrawing cash from Abbey National bank in St Albans Road, Watford, at 2pm on Friday last week.

As he put the cash into his pocket he was approached by the driver of a red Vauxhall Carlton, who got out of his car and told him he was selling watches.

The man went over to the vehicle and was shown a number of watches. There were two other passengers in the vehicle one of them got out, and restrained

the victim while the driver of the vehicle stole the £800 cash he had. The robbers raced away in their car.

The driver is described as a white male, between 20 and 22 years old, 5ft 10in tall, of skinny build, with brown spiky hair, wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans, with he spoke with an Irish accent.

The rear passenger is described as a white man, 24-28 years old, 5ft 11in tall, of medium build, with short black hair combed forward, wearing a black bomber jacket, dark coloured trousers and a cut on his lip. He also spoke with an Irish accent.

The front passenger is described as a white man, 30 years old, of fat build, with a crew cut hair style, wearing a grey sweatshirt and he also spoke with an Irish accent.
