A Collier Row man appeared in court facing drugs and weapons charges.

Christopher Eckworth, 32, of White Hart Lane, was arrested on Saturday (April 20) and charged with being concerned in the supply of class A and B drugs and seven counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

Of these, he is accused of four counts of possessing knuckle dusters, two counts of possessing flick knives and one count of possessing a baton.

The charges were brought against Eckworth after a search by the Romford town centre policing team, police said.
