A woman has been found dead in Elmstead Wood.
Police were called just before 7.30pm on Friday (September 15) to reports that a woman had been found unresponsive in Elmstead Wood.
Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.
Police say a 38-year-old woman died at the scene.
Her family have been informed.
The death is being treated as unexpected and further enquiries are taking place to establish the circumstances.
A spokesperson for the Met said: "Police were called at 19:29hrs on Friday, 15 September to reports that a woman had been found unresponsive in Elmstead Wood.
"Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service.
"A 38-year-old woman died at the scene. Her family have been informed.
"The death is being treated as unexpected and further enquiries are taking place to establish the circumstances."
