A MOBILE home park owner has been fined after breaching his site licence.

Maurice Sines, the owner of Breach Barns Mobile Home Park, in Waltham Abbey, was fined £500 and ordered to pay costs of £227, and a £15 victim surcharge, by Epping magistrates.

An investigation by Epping Forest District Council officers had found Mr Sines had moved one of his mobile homes close to two other units without asking permission.

Essex fire officers, asked to visit the site by the council, agreed the move had increased the risk of a fire spreading from home to home.

Breach Barns Residents' Association chairman Pat Brooks said: "We fully support the council's efforts to require mobile park owners to abide by the rules and consider the safety of the people living on the park."

Mr Sines has been unavailable for comment.

Gypsies want to live near each other. What is wrong with that?

Breach Barns is NOT a site for gypsies. There is a difference. A mobile home park that is licenced is somewhat different to that where gypsies reside! Firstly it is a legal area for the siting of homes not caravans. And secondly, there are no horses running wild!

My parents live at Breach Barns and love the peace and tranquility that the area offers. They are certainly not Gypsies so don't comment on things you do not know about.

the last post posted is quite right, plus the moblies are not painted in flowers and silly solgans so if you want to know more about living on a site like my friends do then read up first.
