Update: Police issue update after incident in Glasgow Royal Exchange Square
A section of Royal Exchange Square has been locked down by police amid an ongoing incident.
A cordon was in place outside of the Gallery of Modern Art on Wednesday afternoon around 4pm with multiple police vans in attendance.
The nature of the incident is currently unknown however the GoMA appears to be open and pedestrians are still able to walk through the square.
