On February 28th Age Concern charity of Epsom and Ewell will be hosting their annual charity curry night at Tamarind Spice, West Ewell to raise money to help this charity sustain their amazing services.

The age concern charity was established in 1947 and ever since then has been helping older people in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell to feel empowered and safe. They also provide a number of services such as home visiting, where the charity sends their team of experienced professionals to assist with organising doctors appointments or other specific needs. They can also help make referrals to dementia care or befriending services.

The charity also offers medical transport, a service where if you are of state retirement age and have difficulty using public transport  a group of volunteers will take you to and from medical appointments.

Another service they provide is free of charge hearing aid battery service for those with NHS hearing aids. Their friendly team can assist them between 9:30am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday no appointment necessary.
