POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a road accident in Charlton which led to the death of a 15-year-old boy.
The accident happened at 6.45pm in Woolwich Road, near the junction with Victoria Way, on December 22.
Officers believe a silver Nissan Micra was in collision with Jimmy Bowles, of Woolwich Road, as it drove east along the road.
A blue Ford Galaxy travelling in the opposite direction was also involved.
Jimmy was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, where he died the next day.
A post-mortem examination at Greenwich Mortuary on December 27 showed he died from multiple injuries.

- Police have arrested a 32-year-old woman from Erith in connection with the incident.
She has been bailed pending further investigation.
- Three teenagers died in a crash on New Year's Day when their car was in collision with a bus, also in Charlton.
